From the wife of a youth football coach...I can so relate. I keep the schedules, make the calls, send the emails, issue the reminders, and so on. Parents who give me the "look" should be thankful I'm playing back-up coach!
And re: the medication...what a screw-up! I can't say more than everyone else has...so I'll just so, OMFG I can't believe you didn't kill him!

I cannot believe that - triple the dosage? Can you imagine if it was someone who wasn't as informed as you -- someone like those that think doctors can do no wrong? The stress this must have put on your system. I'm having the whole can't lose weight but I can lose my hair like there's no tomorrow, but every time I've been tested (4x) my numbers always come out fine. So frustrating.

Next time that guy gives you a look, assign him something to do. That'll stop him.

Girlie - you already know how mad I am about the doctor situation.

I remember being so puzzled by your symptoms and I could just see how it was wearing you down.

I know it really stunk to sit there for an hour and then have someone try to kind of skim over that "whoopsie".

Please don't let this just slide by - if she's wrong by THREE TIMES the amount for another patient again, it could be deadly.

I'm just so glad you are ALREADY feeling better... I felt like jumping up and down when you felt an immediate difference!

And gosh girl, that you have the energy to keep your baseball coach hubs on track... that says alot (give that dude a funny look right back, I know you can :)

Girl you know that I know your pain about the thyroid meds. Why can't the doctors just listen to us. WE know what we feel like and what we shouldn't feel like. Sheesh. I hope that you get it all worked out. Being out of whack...stinks!

Before we moved to AZ I had the BEST Drs! It took me two years to find acceptable Drs for the kids and I am still looking. I had to switch Drs in the middle of my pregnancy and now I'm living with the side-effects from the crappy Drs that delivered Daisy! I'm sure the 'Health Bill' will solve all of our problems! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

That sucks about your doctor getting your meds wrong! My hair is falling out in clumps too, and my medicine dose is right! And I get looks from some of the dads at tball too! What is it with these men thinking that women should sit down and be quiet!?!
