Thank You Very Much

The Daily Dribbles

It’s Thursday, and that means I save money on therapy by linking up with Kmama at The Daily Dribbles. Be sure to click on over to her house and link up your own Thank You Very Much post!

To the incredibly busy day I had yesterday. It was supposed to be a day off for fun and good times. Instead I feel exhausted and worn out. Thank you very much.

To the weather that can’t decide if it is winter or spring. I froze my patootie off at Josh’s baseball game yesterday. Thank you very much.

To my son, whom shall remain nameless. Jakob. I’m sorry I flipped out when we thought you lost your brand new baseball glove. But for heaven’s sake- those things are expensive and if you haven’t noticed we do not have a money tree in the backyard. Thank you very much.

To my calendar. We don’t need to be this busy. Stop filling up with activities and things to do. Thank you very much.

To American Idol. 3 days a week with 2 of those 3 days being 2 hour shows is ridiculous. Let’s cut to the chase and just start with the Top 10, shall we? Thank you very much.

My husband and I totally skipping American Idol until there's just the top ten left.

Winter has been something "special" this year.

I so hear you on the AI thing! I never could stand to watch the first many rounds of horrid people. I haven't watched it in ages... they found Chris Daughtry for me, so I'm good, thanks.

The snowy/summery picture is so cool! Is that near you? You will notice (I am sure...) that on Tues. Donovan didn't need a coat outside and yesterday, well, he didn't have a coat on, but he should have because it was SNOWING! Thank goodness it didn't stick this time! I used to like snow, but snow better watch out or I won't be it's friend anymore!!

The winter/spring photo is fantastic (I had to think of a word besides cool (julie already used it))
Were you outside in both types of weather conditions taking those pictures?

Love the pics!

Oh, is American Idol on? hee hee

Glad it sounds like you found Jakob's mitt? What's really fun is when the kid loses the ONE toy he just cannot fall asleep without... and you trudge out to the car in the dark to fetch it. Good times, I tell ya.

Happy TYVM Day! Special little tribute to you over at my place... you BOB butt-kickin girl you!

Baseball games already??? It seems too soon in the year!

And you're right, what pregnant woman STARES DOWN children? Aren't they supposed to like children?

Wow- baseball?! I'm looking forward to spring! What pretty pictures! And no, I have no laundry scoop offers beside yours. I'll e-mail you! :)

Those baseball gloves ARE expensive!!

I totally agree about American Idol. It's ridiculous. Cut the chit-chat, the commercials, and 2 people out of the "top".

Thanks for linking up!

No joke! I am not watching Idol until it's narrowed back down to a one hour show, once a week!

when you find that money tree, will you send me a start.. I so know what you mean!

Great shots of the winter verse spring! Personally I got tired of Idol years ago....seems to be the same thing time after time and to have it one that often is nerve racking.

Our weather in Alabama has been back and forth alot lately.

AI is getting on my nerves... probably because I've watch EVERY season of it!!!

I get the same way with my son's sports equipment...it's so expensive.

Love your pictures...although we aren't as bad as the North East, we have not been fooled by spring yet. The snow had never completely left :(

Don't all days work like that?

I finally had to turn idol off because it was driving me absolutely bonkers! I'll just wait til they get to the top 12 and then start watching.

You have older kids too, so is there ever a point that they stop thinking there is a money tree growing in the yard?! *PleaseSayYesPleaseSayYesPleaseSayYes*

I am soooo glad I'm not an AI fan...vampires consume enough of my time, I don't need to add singers and hyped up judges to that mix! ;)

I would have to agree about the weather...make up your mind. Gloves are expensive...we have to buy three this year. ugh.
I know...my girls are constantly watching AI. past their bedtimes too. grrrr!

I agree the the AI thing. I can't even watch anymore because they take so long to get to the good part of the show.

I've got to agree with you about the weather lately. I'm done with this bizarre winter we've had. Bring on spring!

And I so need a money tree. I'd be happy with a money shrub right about now. *sigh*

My hubby stops watching AI once they pic the top ten...he says it isn't funny anymore after that. I refuse to watch it at all because I already have enough obssessions. *coughTwilightcough*

Three days ago it was 76 degrees and today it is back in the fifties...I am sooooo over winter!

Oh how I wish we had a money tree growing the back yard. My boys think we can just go to the bank whenever they want something. If only it were that easy!

I agree about American Idol. Is it just me, or are the contests not doing near as good as the ones in the past?

Yuck! Sitting in the cold to watch baseball. That's just wrong. I freak out. I have to bite my tongue and let my husband handle things like, "I lost the keys to the truck at school." You know those keys with the electronic locks and flash lights and honk horns so you know which vehicle the keys belong to?

When I think about the money I cost my Mom by losing or breaking brand new things....EEEK!
