Thank You Very Much

The Daily Dribbles

It's that time. Time for my weekly therapy courtesy of Kmama at The Daily Dribbles. After you comment on how witty, beautiful, and downright hilarious I am be sure to click on over there and link up your own thank you's!

To the congestion that has decided to take up residence in my chest. I don't like it when you make it feel as though Nolan is sitting on my chest and I can't breathe. Thank you very much.

To the karma that bit me in the butt when I was concerned that maybe Jakob didn't have any friends and then proceeded to entertain them one by one on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday over the long weekend. Yes, I worry about my little Aspie too much but there is no need to throw it in my face. Thank you very much.

To the egg donor who manages to continue to screw with her kids lives even as they become young men. One day karma will come to bite you in the butt. Thank you very much.

To the Olympics that for some reason finds it necessary to stay on television until 11pm at night- 30 minutes after my bedtime. Seriously, you are making me exhausted while I stay up past my bedtime to watch these amazing athletes. Thank you very much.

Egg donor, I had never heard it put that way on a female.

Get better soon... I need you in top condition so no one can say I had an unfair advantage when I kick your butt in Round Two of the Battle of the Blogs, hee hee.

Sorry about the egg donor. It's more important to be a parent than the cool friend who lets you do self-destructive things.

You could have COME HERE to see the Olympics in person! Then we could have met IRL :)

Gotta laugh at egg donor.

I haven't been watching the Olympics.

Hope you are feeling better soon!

My son is also an Aspie but he'd rather be alone than be with friends. *Sighs*

It is so frustrating when parents don't parent! And yes, the Olympics are far too interesting ~ they're totally interfering with my bedtime too!

Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma said...

The only thing interfering with my bedtime is blogging! I haven't had time to catch any of the Olympics.

I hope that you feel better soon!

Sorry you're feeling awful - that's how I felt the last two weeks but mine is FINALLY SLOWLY going away now. Hope your week gets better sweetie! Big hugs! :o)

I'm sorry you aren't feeling better.

At what point is the egg donor going to learn and just leave those boys alone? *sigh*

I haven't watched much of the Olympics...shame on me.

Thanks for linking up!

I wish the Olympics were on earlier too. I'm so tired.

I'm impressed your normal bedtime is as late as 10:30! 9:00 and I'm out. I love the Olympics, but I just can't stay up... I watch the highlights the next a.m.

Sorry you're feeling bad. Feel better soon. ;)

Emma said...

I'm with you on the Olympics as I'm absolutely loving watching them but I feel your pain with the tired thing!!!

Hope that you soon feel better!

Oh, Karma... it'll get you in the butt every time! But at least you know it isn't just you - Egg Donor will definitely get it too! About the Olympics: at least you live in the central time zone! It's on until midnight for me! Although it is kinda nice to snuggle under my electric blanket and watch all these sports in bed. The trouble is, I get so tense every time somebody does a jump or trick or what have you, I have to calm down again when it's all done in order to fall asleep! I do love it though. I've always been a huge Olympics watcher. Men's figure skating long programs are on tonight - it's going to be another late one! (Maybe I should work a nap into my schedule today...)

You are DEFINITELY witty, beautiful, and DOWNRIGHT HILARIOUS!

Hey, I'm not taking any Karma chances.

This egg donor woman needs some help, doesn't she? Yikes. Good thing the boys have you to balance the freakiness.

HeatherOz said...

Why can't the olympics just take a short break so I can watch the 10pm news. I need to go to bed but for some reason I can't sleep without seeing the weather forcast! And, no, the computer doesn't work. It has to be LIVE from a real weather guesser!

I am always worried Jack doesn't have any friends! :) And I have had a sinus headache for over two weeks now. Argh!!!

Kelli @ RTSM said...

I remember staying up WAY too late to watch the summer Olympics a few years ago! We have been on vacation, so I have missed a lot of these games! I always liked to watch Curling:)

Momma Such said...

So sorry to hear you are congested. I seem to have had a sinus infection off and on this whole pregnancy...yuck! I hope you get to feeling better! We can't get sick when we have all these boys to take care of!

So you have an egg donor. My nephew's, ahem, father, is known around our family as the sperm donor - haha!

Entertaining your friendless son's friends. Awesome!

Where's the "bitch" comment on this one! he he he :)

Daddy Bub said...

Egg donor, she said "egg donor", what a hoot.

Also, lmbo at the baby in the egg picture. Oh, priceless.

11? Shoot, that's nothin'. Ours is on til 12, with the good stuff after 12:30. I am trying my darndest to make it til 12. No wonder I'm yelling at my kids all the time, I'm half asleep til about 10 am. :)
