Nolan looks a little under the weather - and the elephant looks like any parent when they see another parent with kid(s) in the early phases of melt down.
Awwww, did they not like the elephant? I have a picture of G in front of the elephant exhibit at our zoo at about the same age as your youngest... she was zonked out; not even interested! At least your boys were awake for the adventure :)
I would be crying too if someone was sitting on me! Just kidding, but he does look like he needs some space. Love how big brother just is completely unbothered by the drama behind.
Aww...look how little they are! I love to look at old pictures! I dusted on an oldie for my WW this week. And yes, the elephant does look like it's thinking "oh geez..not another crying kid..."
That picture just screams for the background story! I mean, you have an elephant that totally looks like he's giving you attitude, then a kid who looks half desperate to be done with the picture taking, and the poor blondie who seriously looks like he's begging for a nap :)
I'm guessing mama was a bit frazzled behind the camera??? Comeon, do tell!
Hey - totally off-topic, but we should do a Battle of the Blogs: would you rather be beaten to death by potty-mouthed bloggers who overreact... ;)
Okay, the map is the perfect touch to this lovely foto! LOL It's like Nolan is thinking, "Do we HAVE to go through the rest of this place?" Love the elephant too. Jakob is just kinda chillin', which cracks me up even more. Yep, must have been quite a day! Makes me glad we skipped out on the Louisville Zoo this year! lol

Hahaha. Was he scared?
Too funny! Looks like it had been a long day! I love the map hanging over the side too:)
Love it!
I don't know why, but the BIG elephant butt in the picture is making me laugh. The boys are too cute! ;)
I love elephants and crying baby pictures!!!
Someone was not at all happy.

Aww, look how little they are!! Poor Nolan... did Jakob sit on him? ;)
My word verification is "unfaire" - seems appropriate for this pic!
What a cute picture!! Nolan was a total blondie, huh?
Just like mine. Love it.
Cute pictures. Looks like the little guy is not happy. Did he want to stay and watch the elephants?
HAhaha! That's about what our zoo trip looks like toward the end too :)
Hahaha...why is he sitting on him? Too funny!!

Awe, look how teeny they were!

Not feeling the elephants huh?!

Elephants can be quite scary.
They don't seem to be having a very good time. Not that I blame them...elephants are smelly!
I admire you for your bravery. I have yet to brave the zoo. Seems like a task and a half. They look awful cute.

The Elephants are my favorite. It may have to do with Big Al, I don't know...
(Big Al is the University of Alabama's elephant mascot.)

awww...you just want to pick him up and hug him!!
Awww! Look how little they were. So cute. They look like little tourists with their map.
AWWW! He is so sad! Did that elephant toot on him? LOL
It looks like they are both really enjoying the zoo! Too funny!
It is an awesome picture without editing. Great shot. What is he so upset for? or is that a smile? LOL
They are both so cute.
Hmmmm.....someone's not happy.
