It's Thursday and that means it's time for Thank You Very Much hosted by the one and only Kmama at The Daily Dribbles!
To the grocery store that insists on changing its layout and product placement every six months and in turn confusing me all to heck. Thank you very much.
To my family that has relegated me to a short order cook. Thank you very much.

To my Midas touch that does not turn everything to gold but manages to break every computer that I touch. Thank you very much.

To Nolan's tuition that insists on being due at the same time as the mortgage payment on the 1st of the month even though I don't get paid until the 15th. Thank you very much.

To the "other" blog that claims they copied Jimmy Fallon's thank you very much letters and not Kmama's blog carnival. Um...yeah, I don't really believe you. Thank you very much.
Be sure to write up your own form of therapy and link up with Kmama today! We can't let that "other" blog win. (And we all know just how competitive I really am.)
*I am guest posting today over at Undercover Mother. Hop on over there to see what I have to say (it just may be another substitute teaching story *wink wink*) and see the cutest little boys with the sweetest spirit.

33 Validations To Make Me Feel Worthy:
OMG, I so hear you on the stores changing their layouts. Drives me nuts! And about the paychecks, I just realized the other day that I'm not sure exactly when I get paid (I just know it's twice a month), but if I get paid on the first, I will either have to make an extra trip up to work next week or wait 6 extra days to get paid. This 42-mile commute is getting irritating already. But I'd honestly rather do this than be a substitute teacher... you are a brave woman!
I love these...thanks!
Very funny! Love your sarcasm you make me laugh every time!!
I hate when the stores change their layouts too. So frustrating.
So when did you become a sub. teacher? I just applied to become a sub again since my husbands work schedule changed and I can leave our youngest home with him on the days I sub. I used to sub right out of college ( I have my degree in teaching but had not gotten certified yet. The school I student taught at had me subbing as soon as I was able to ) It was St. Louis City Public Schools.. some were great others were scarey just depended on the school.
Any way that was almost 6 years ago. So I was just wondering when you started and how crazy is it now??
i HATE That ALL my bills are due at the beginning of the month. Oh well, I agree that it is there fault. If they want paid on time, they should change their due dates. ;)
xoxo
Danielle
That store is devious and does it just to watch people over the cameras search for stuff all day long.. plus it probably makes you spend more because you see stuff you don't normally see.
As for paychecks.. I hear ya! We have way more due at the beginning of the month then the middle so i completely understand.
off I go to hop hop hop - should be cleaning :)
I hate when stores change their layout. Especially b/c I'm so anal about my grocery lists. I keep a running list of what I need but the night before I go, I sit down with it and rewrite it, grouping all the like items together and listing them in the order that I come across them in the store. Crazy, right? But, it saves so much time.
Over to check out your guest post!
I hate that the same store, like Walmart, isn't the same in every town. I hate to walk into a new store and not know where anything is because it is completly switched around from the one we have at home!
I hate it when the layouts change.
I rarely cook, it's so overrated...LOL
Oh no on the puter breaking, it
sux.
Sometimes you can have due dates changed. I've done it before.
Copy catters suck rocks.
Oh! I thought they got it from Elvis! Thank you! Thank you very much!
I totally agree about the grocery stores!! Drives me crazy.
I am right there with you on so many of these today, the grocery store, computers breaking and tuition especially!!
Oh girlie, you are a brave, brave (croc-fighting) woman to call out an angry blogger who's been fingered for copying, LOL! But I guess they haven't seen the pic of you with the .30-06, right?
I might be *slightly* OCD in that I make out a grocery list by section so I can make one sweep of the store with my energetic toddler (btw - when do they stop being called "toddlers"?) And it drives me batty when they change the layout too!
BTW - lots of places will let you pick the due date for your bills - call your bank up :)
Go Kmama, Go Kmama! hee hee
That really wasn't her reasoning was it?! Now I just think she's a cheap imitation!
We only get paid once a month at the beginning and it really chaps my hide when something is due on some stupid time like the 22nd of the month. Grrrr!
Do you know just how much trouble the two of us could cause IRL? I love love love how you can say just what I'm thinking ~ but I don't like that I now have to come up with something else or I'll look like a copycat thank you very much. Oh, and I'm so crazy that I have a grocery list created on my computer that is by aisle and category so yeah, don't mess with my system Kroger. You rock girlfriend!
What? You shop at Wal-Mart too? The only store that changes what it carries and where it is placed every week just to make customers linger!
For a fun time, ask a clerk where the toothpicks are in Wally World. In ours there 8 different places they could be and no clerk will know which one, so you have to visit them all. (And the 8 places change at random too.)
Remind me never to piss you off. ;)
I'm still disgusted with our Wal-Mart for thinking it had to be like the new fancy Wal-Mart and change everything around. I've tried... I CAN'T find anything in that store! Ugh.
I hate grocery stores changing the lay-out!
And I swore I'd never be a short order cook. But I was wrong.
Lucky for me, my husband does all of the grocery shopping! I am too easily led in to grabbing all of the impulse items!
our WM just changed their layout and I HATE IT!!! as if I didn't hate Wally world enough...ugh!!!
going to check out your guest post now :)
LOL at the midas touch! too funny!
Short order cook? JUST SAY NO!! Sheesh. men.
oh, and i agree- Kmama was first~
What? You broke another computer?? Stop it! LOL
I feel like a short order cook too...however, miraculously, EVERYONE ate the same meal Tuesday night and no one complained. It was a freaking miracle, or full moon, or something.
Thanks for the plug and for linking up!
Totally with you on the store layout thing. I, being OCD in some ways, write my list out to match the path I take through the store. So when it changes constantly, I stress. It's annoying!
Thinking I should start doing these 'Thank you very much posts'!
We had two computers go down this week. Yuck! Like I want that added expense right now.
See I have my degree in Elem. Ed so the big kids scare me!! and I think that they know it because the one time I did sub. for a HS I about crapped myself. LOL It was everything I could do to not cry and quit.
I love that you threw the "other" blog under the bus! Who does she think she is fooling?!
We just went through that here. They put up a map that looked like a 4 year old drew it with a broken crayon.
I know! And WTG Julie!
Happy Friday Follow - Rita @ http://one2try.blogspot.com/
