Wordless Wednesday

Wordless Wednesday
My first Thanksgiving meal cooked all by my grown-up self.

Sorry, I know this is boring for all of you- but I need a record of it for prosperity. (Or is it posterity. I don't know...but whatever it is I'm doing it for that.)

Dang! That turkey looks gorgeous! You did a great job and I mean that, congratulations. :) I remember my first all by myself thanksgiving dinner, i forgot to take out the bag of parts that come with the turkey. LMAO My husband still brings that up.

Looks delish! And you did the stuffing INSIDE the turkey! We never do that. I think we should next year... Enough of this on the stove top...
Good job!

I think it's posterity.
And it looks YUMMY! Especially whatever that is on the bottom right.

Looks good. Posterity will appreciate having a record to prove you did it. {*grin*}

Sorry to hear that the cold front is going to make it all the way down there - but some snow flurries will do you good - maybe even put some hair on the boys chests. {*grin/2*}

Your turkey looks perfect! I bet it was tasty!

Yes... I'm curious about what's in the bottom right too. I was a big girl this year and cooked as well. Poppy helped with the turkey 'cause I don't like to touch the guts, but otherwise I did EVERYTHING. Big accomplishment for me since Daddy Bub usually takes care of it (he was working). :)

Looks wonderful!

here it is 4:45 and this JUST showed up in my reading list. BLOGGER!!! It also lost all of the blogs I was following earlier today. Grr. They might need a letter of intent!

YUMMY! You are making me want to bake a pie!! Is that pumpkin or sweet potato? Either way it looks really good!

It looks delicious! Isn't it funny that even though we are grown women we still don't think that we are until we host Thanksgiving and cook it ourselves? You are one up on me! My inlaws will host forever if its up to me ;)

Yummy! When I grow up, I wanna be like Julie!! Until then, I'll happily continue to let my grandma and aunts do most of the cooking. :)
