To my misunderstanding brain that thought Skinny Chics in Sumo Suits was going to get started on SupahMommy's blog and that also thought she was just too busy to get started this week making me a whole week behind. Thank you very much.
To my ridiculous body that can't handle going through the day without a nap. Thank you very much.
To Jakob's field trip that lasted past my naptime rendering me useless for the rest of the day and had me crawling in bed at 8pm like a child. Thank you very much.
To Jakob who has learned to tie his shoes but now says he can't do it good enough and begging me to do it for him. Thank you very much.

19 Validations To Make Me Feel Worthy:
I have purposely avoided going to Skinny Chics in Sumo suits because I'm in denial and don't WANT to start until after Christmas. Too much stress on my plate already.
HOW DO YOU TEACH A CHILD TO TIE SHOES? I want to stab my eyeballs everytime I work with Buddy. He will never learn. I think I'm just a terrible teacher.
Ha! Jack does the same thing w/ his shoes. And my body feels the same way too!
Hee Hee I have an 8-year-old who knows how to tie, but just wont. He has a pair of shoes that I wonder why he won't wear, so I ask him, and he says, 'Because they tie'. WTH??? I glared, "Oh, you WILL Be wearing them."
I'm nice like that.
Naps. We all love them. ;) Good thank yous.
You...Award...my blog!
Thank you very much! :)
I think we will just stick with velcro! Thankfully its boot season here so zippers are all the rage. ;)
Your body isn't ridiculous...I think everybody should take an afternoon nap. I certainly can't function without one!
Funny! Very funny! I always want a nap too but no one will let me take one!!!!!
I need a nap most days too...but we have been so busy lately that I am lucky if I get to rest for 30 minutes while the boys take a nap! Henry and Grant both got new shoes a last week...and I told Jason they are spending the two weeks of school vacation learning how to tie their shoes!!
You're funny. I seriously wish I could go back to naps - but since the kiddos don't - I can't. I should tell them that one day they'll be like Julie WANTING a nap everyday, so they should start now!
Just wait, it won't be long until the "you do it better so would you please tie my shoes" turns into "I can do it myself - leave me alone." Usually at a wedding while wearing the slick laced dress shoes and he has decided to just let the laces trail along behind. (Don't ask me how I know these things, I just do.)
Enjoy the time before absolute independence comes to the fore.
P.S. I have to ask what a roollamb is? That is the capitcha that came up to prove I am not a machine.
Wait- you usually manage to get a nap??? I'm so jealous! I would nap every day if I could. Unfortnately, when the baby naps, the other two running around as usual, so it's not safe to nap.
I'm with Kmama---how DO you teach them...Ry is making me crazy nuts trying to teach her...help us o' wise one!
Naptime? Seriously, you get a naptime?!?! How on earth do you wrangle that? I need to know... I really need to know! :)
I have been there with the shoe tying thing. Very frustrating.
Yes, my son likes me to tie his shoe too. It's why he has velcro shoes now.
Hey, I personally enjoy an 8:00 pm bedtime! ;) I've discovered that all the fussing over the boys going to bed and STAYING in bed is fixed real easy if I just go to bed too! HA! If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
I have been pretty MIA from the blogging world since our move so I have no idea what the Skinny Sumo thing is about. I'll have to check it out.
I'm not starting my diet until January 1st! I'm going to enjoy my Christmas season! :) And I know how it feels not getting your nap! Im right there with you on crawling into bed at 8pm like my kiddo!!
