Emily asked: Julie, is that how you snagged your hubby too? ;P
Well actually Emily, it just so happens...no I'm kidding. That is not how I snagged him. But you can read this post to find out just how we met. My feminine wiles had matured a little bit by the time I met Chris. (Just a tad though.)
Tamara said this: I loved this story...the whole time I was reading it I was thinking of Meg from Family Guy. lol The episode when she was on the football field as a flag girl trying to get the attention of the cool kids. lol
Great Job as guest blogger :)
OK, that is embarrassing and hilarious all at the same time. I'd like to think I was cooler than Meg is, but really...that comparison is hilarious!
Kimber and Kmama both requested pictures.
Honestly, I was going to search for a picture. But all of my photos from HS are in my hope chest and our TV is sitting on it right now. We plan on moving the TV to another room soon and when that happens I will be sure to pull my pictures out for you all. Anything for my readers!
And Sara said: almost died laughing at you! You are a unmatched hooT!
Oh Sara, I hope you survived! I would never want you to die, but spitting out coffee or other form of liquid substance at your computer is great!
And since I can't embarrass myself with a HS photo of my fashion faux-pas, I will honor you with one of me in front of the Christmas tree way back when. Don't you love the outfit? (Not to mention that killer couch!)

22 Validations To Make Me Feel Worthy:
You are such a hoot!!
You crack me up! You're awesome. You're inspiring. You're a fashion diva that I want to imitate! You make my blog reading fun :o)
Lol! Not sure what is funnier -- your extreme coolness as a band geek freshman year or that awesome ruffled blouse in the picture! Thanks for a laugh this morning.
Wow! That is an awesome outfit. You wore it with such pride too! LOL
I think you missed your calling as a fashion model sister! haha!!
That story was hilarious-I'd love to see pics as well. And I actually think this picture is sweet!!
Jen
Love the picture! :)

You've been in my closet again! Not to mention my photo album....
Too funny! I can't wait to see those pics...you are braver than me! I have my HS pictures put away in a safe place where no one can find them:)
a precious picture and great questions and answers. you asked about my christmas dolls. they are "carolers" made by a company in Pa., but are available at Hallmark stores. they just have the singing expressions. my first one is from '95, a gift from my aunt. Both she, my mom, and my mom in-law have been buying them for me. i am not the collector-type, but i like these dolls for the holiday season. happy WW and take care.
Youre awesome! Thats all!
I'm still sad you never finished out your band career. And I noticed that you have Stratego under your tree there- Mr. YH bought that in hopes of getting me all ready to play chess with him. It's still sitting in the closet after the couple of games we played back when... :)
Very stylish
That outfit is priceless...if only the doll had had on a matching one too! :)
Move the tv! I want to see!
hee hee- I snorted my soda - ouch!!
Love the outfit.
Hmmm... apparently I missed a very funny post. I'm going to have to go back and read it. And, before you say anything... yes, of course, I read your blog FIRST everyday, but I've been soooo busy. I know, no excuses. It won't happen again. ;)
Is that a Madame Alexander doll? I had one that looked very similar when I was younger!
Yep, you were too cool! :)
Oh girl! That couch is to die for! My grandma had one very similar to it when I was little! I remember that I loved to sit on it because it was so soft! LOVE the outfit and doll! You are too too funny. You crack me up!
i see that outfit, and have this to say:
"i will NOT come to your tent meeting, even if there IS GOING TO BE FREE HAIRCUTS."
