Letters of Intent

Letters of Intent

Can you believe it's Friday already? Are you ready for Christmas which is only...14 days away! Is your To-Do list a mile long and growing? Is the stress of the season causing your hair to turn gray? Are your children pausing live TV and insisting you come into the room and watch this "very important" commercial which is advertising some "must have" Christmas present? Did you get an early Christmas present- maybe you're on a cruise right now and taking out a small loan to pay for 5 minutes of Internet service but you just have to tell everyone what a grand time you're having! Well, now is your chance to tell us about it! Write your letter to a person, place, thing, or idea. Grab my button from my left sidebar and link your letter up at the bottom of this post. I promise to spread some Christmas cheer in the form of comments. You're welcome.

Tis' the season for holiday Christmas letters. Just so you know, I don't send out Christmas cards nor do I write letters about our adventures from the year. My life is busy enough and I don't need to add this stress to it. But this year I thought I'd write a Christmas letter to everyone right here on my blog...you're so welcome.

_____________________________________________________________

To all my family, friends, and fellow bloggers,

Merry Christmas! I hope this letter finds you all merry and bright for this very joyous season. Our household has had a stellar year and because I know how you all feel so warm and fuzzy inside by reading about the exaggerations successes of my family I thought I'd share with you.

Nolan has turned into a phenomenal child. Everyone who meets him is blown away by his articulate, expressive language skills and falls in love with him the instant they meet him. He is at the top of his class in Pre-K and his teacher is in the process of nominating him for Mensa. She anticipates him to be enrolled in college by the age of 11. Look for him to be making millions supporting his parents in a lucrative career by the age of 18.

Jakob, much like Nolan, is at the top of his 2nd grade class. He is looking forward to the Odyssey of the Mind competition in a few months. He is currently working on creating columns made of balsa wood to hold the weight of an average size adult. Since the average size adult happens to be much larger than our 1970's counterparts this is quite a feat and should make for a spectacular showing at the competition. We look forward to his genius supporting his parents taking him far in life.

Josh is currently being scouted by all the major league baseball teams in the country. He is expected to skip the minor leagues and step out onto the field for the World Series in the Spring of 2010. He has his pick of teams, but right now is leaning towards the Astros. We look forward to him supporting his parents playing close to home so that we may see him take the field at home games.

Nathan is taking over the family business and turning it into a multi- million dollar corporation. Under his direction the business has made a complete turnaround and has grown into a very lucrative career in order to support his parents make his money work for him rather than working for his money. Expect to see our "little" family business to be listed in Fortune magazine as one of 2009's Global 500 corporations.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us to all of you!

We thought you might enjoy a picture of our new house all lit up for the holidays.

Do all parents dream of how their children will some day support them? My husband is grooming my boys for baseball.

HAha Cute letter! I love how you are anxious for your kids to *ahem* make it well. LOL

I tried to post my MckLinky but it doesn't like me. I will try to get back later today but I don't know if I will be able. If not, maybe you will at least stop by.

Hugs!

LOL That is so funny.

Jdaddy talks about how Buddy will make it in hockey and support us. He says that Buddy is our "little investment". LOL

Roaring!!!!!!! Your kids do show that you've been successful in many ways- that makes a great legacy, not just a great year! :)

Your year is only rivaled by my own. Ironman cured cancer, Bucket won a nobel prize, just for getting elected most popular in his Mother's Day Out class! Rockstar is producing a new show called Rockstar Idol, and I, well, I'm the glue ;)

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... HA! LOVE it! You absolutely kill me! I'm glad I didn't have my coffee yet, or it'd be all over my little computer screen. :)

You forgot the most important paragraph - you know, the one where you traded in the old BMW for a Ferrari because it was time and how hubs set a new course record during the pro-am and how you all as a family founded and run a soup kitchen for those in need.

So funny! Those oh-so-exagerated, rainbows-and-unicorn-farts letters make me giggle.

HA HA HA! You so funny!! (Read that in a silly accent. I don't know why. Just do.) Enjoy your very prosperous Christmas and New Year! :)

Ah ha ha! Laughing out loud! This reminds me a little of going to my class reunion! Everyone showing up in (rented) BMWs and taking about how brilliant their toddlers are. Did you know that Twinks is already reading at the 8th grade level? AND she is training for the Olympics. Can you believe it?

Ha! LOVE that Christmas letter!

please, please, send this letter out as your "christmas newsletter" to your friends and family. it would be SO funny to hear about the comments and letters you get back.

Seriously chica... I would LOOOVE to get something like that in the mail. You would make all of that holiday stress melt away!

And you were whining about less-expensive gifts? Give the one of your writing :)

Sorry we linked up so late... freezing weather, freezing horses, freezing pipes, freezing people... not a good recipe for the day.

So funny. I have been MIA this week preparing for gallbladder removal. By the way I am acting, you would think I was the one actually going to do the surgery. I just feel like I can't get enough done BEFORE they laser into me, and hopefully don't have to cut their way out! Got about 90% done, only 50% more to go! LOL

My 1st Christmas letter of the season!
I thought about foregoing Christmas cards, but couldn't bring myself to do it, so I narrowed down the list instead. Went from 120 (yes, with 3 families and a gazillion friends) and got it down to 35. I even eliminated some family - hehe!
