Have you come across one too many Scrooges this week? Has the start of the Christmas season also been the start of the winter time blues? Have your kids gotten a bad case of the gimmies? Has your significant other surprised you with an early Christmas present that you are just dying to tell everyone about? Well, do just that! Write a letter to a person, place, thing, or idea. Grab my button off my left sidebar and link up at the bottom of this post. I will spread my Christmas cheer in the form of comment love and hopefully some of my faithful readers will do the same. You never know- maybe you'll add a new follower to your widget! (Yes- I'm still obsessed with that square full of faces. Did you think I wasn't?) I look forward to your Letters of Intent!

Dear Fellow Bloggers,
I must thank you for keeping me here in this parallel universe otherwise known as blogland. OK, so I totally made that word up- but it sounds good and I will freely allow you to use it as common verbiage and not put a patent on the word so that I get paid every time you type it into your computer. Wait- maybe I should do that! Wow- maybe that's the ticket to the big bucks. Sorry, I digress.
Anyhow- I thank you. Why, you ask? Well, I'll tell you. You're welcome.
I thank you for being such an integral part of my daily life for the last 365 days. That's right! My 1 year blogoversary was yesterday, Dec. 3rd. I have been knee-deep in mine and your blogs for an entire year and I absolutely love it!
I love the sense of community that we have created and the encouragement, camaraderie, and yes I love the heckling too. I love that a fellow blogger can pour their heart out and others are there to lift them up and pray for them. I love that we can gripe about our kids and no one is judging and telling us what a bad parent we are, but instead saying, "Hey, I've been there and this too shall pass" or "My kids are doing the exact same thing and are driving me nuts!" I love that I can go to my dashboard at anytime of the day and read something that makes me laugh, cry, provoke thought, or tell me that I won a prize! I love that in this day and age when our lives are so busy with kids, work, activities, and the day to day craziness that we can all join together in an online network and talk over our "water cooler" about what has been happening.
So I thank you from the very bottom of my heart- all 147 of you! Holy cow- did you catch that? 147 followers!!!! Yes, I still feel validated when I look at that number every day and it still makes me squeal with glee when a new follower clicks that button and admits to reading my ramblings. And yes, I still feel as though it is a personal insult when someone UNFOLLOWS me. *sigh*
So...
Here's to you
Here's to me
Best of blogging buddies we'll always be.
And if by chance we disagree
Beware-
You don't want to UNFOLLOW me.
I look forward to the next 365 days!

26 Validations To Make Me Feel Worthy:
Cute lettter. Wow doesn't the year just fly by? Blogging is great and the friendships are awesome too. So glad to be following along and no worries i am here to stay:)
Congratulations, Julie! Good stuff.
And I would never "unfollow" you--I'm afraid you'd hurt me!
Isn't it annoying when someone stops following and you have no clue who or why?
I still think blogger should have a tracker so the author could tell who left. Oh well - it won't be the last time one of my ideas is ignored. {*grin*}
Happy Blogiversary (did I spell that right?) Anywho, Congrats! :)
Happy One Year Anniversary! I missed mine, after making fun of Rachel for missing her 3 year one. Oh well. I will never unfollow you. I like your spunk. lol. Ready to type out my letter now. Happy Friday!
I'm so glad we "met" in Blogland!(opps. I owe you $5) I so think we'd be friends IRL!!!
I linked to the Letter from Jesus too.
Ok, my feelings were pretty hurt since I wasn't part of the 147... but on the other hand, I feel sort of proud that I'm #148 now and maybe I'll confuse just one person who reads your letter and sees that you have 148 followers and thinks, "who's the poor chump that she left out?"
Hey - I'm really enjoying the friday letters... hope to still be writing and reading them in another 365 days!
Happy one year blog-o-versary!
You are hilarious. I love that little poem at the end.
Mine letter is definitely not one of my better letters. *sigh* Just too much going on.
Happy Anniversary! One year goes by fast doesn't it? How are you surprised by 147 followers? You have a great blog and that proves it :)
An Unfollower you say? That would just break my heart if that happened to me!
I feel the same way!!! (I haven't kept track of 'followers' but now I probably will!)
I don't think anyone will unfollow you. :) I'm glad I found your blog. You have quite an exciting life, and you crack me up. I'll keep reading , if you keep typing.
Happy 1 year blogiversary!! It's amazing what a lifeline this whole blogland has become for me too. It really keeps me from my not losing my ever-lovin-mind! ;)
I love your letter!! I feel the same way you do about my fellow bloggers. :) I get excited too when i get a new follower. lol I have a letter too and I'm linked up now. :)
Thanks!!
Great letter! First your birthday and now your blogoversary! You have had a busy week or two! I like when I get new followers too...it makes me feel like someone actually cares what I am writing about:)
One more thing...hahahahaha nope! didn't light up with dad after the bong incident but I had that bong forever and I honestly can't remember what happened to it. lol I called my sister and told her I blogged about it yesterday and she about died. lol!!!
Happy Blogiversary!!! *clapping, cheering* Congrats! :)
BTW, Love the poem... I wouldn't dream of unfollowing you!
Now you have me curious as to what day I first blogged was! I shall go look :)
I could not agree with you more about how great blogland is! Yours is always a highlight!!!
Congrats on your blogiversary!!
Well, that explains it... I actually had dream about you last night!!! I have been waiting for the opportunity to tell you that all day, and then I log on a read that yesterday was your blogoversary. :) My dream was that I was subbing in for you with your family... they were not supposed to notice because I have the same name as you. Then they found out, and I was afraid of upsetting them. Luckily you came back home just in the nick of time.
I have really strange (and and often stressful) dreams pretty much every night, but this was the first time I dreamed about a fellow blogger! You should feel honored. Or scared... which ever.
Julie,
I promise not to unfollow haha! Sorry I haven't been the best commenter it has been CRAZY. December wears me out and it is only the 4th. OH and I love the sock idea.
Love your post! I know what you mean - I don't think I have any followers, but I get SO.EXCITED. when people I don't know leave comments on my blog!
Happy Blogiversary!!! I agree with you. The sense of community out here is absolutely fabulous! I have so many friends and it's what I love the most about it. :)
I won't unfollow you. I promise. I actually wrote that in a post not too long ago that I will never unfollow anyone.
Happy Anniversary! Loved meeting you over at Live Laugh Pull Your Hair Out! It's so great & weird how we (here in blogland) come across kindred souls, folks from the same town, state, whatever. I'm fairly new to blogging but I am addicted! I LOVE it and am looking forward to my first anniversary next year! Keep up the good work - I'll be back my Texas friend!
Congrats on your 1 year blogoversary! Woohoo! I really love reading your blog, and you always make me laugh. So thank YOU! Keep dishin' out the silly stories!
Congrats on the blogoversary. And funny that Lisa made fun of me, then forgot too!
Love that you pulled these followers by writing good stuff. And I won't be unfollowing anytime soon. In fact, I think we should have a Foursons road trip and meet IRL! :)
