So I'm posting an embarrassing childhood photo for you. I'm opening myself up to all of you pointing your fingers and laughing at me. Yup, I'm sacrificing my self-esteem for the sake of my blog. You're welcome. My worst ornament hanging on my tree is an old one with a picture of me. I have no idea why I hang this thing on my tree every year. I hated it when I was a kid and somehow it has made its way into my box of ornaments and I still hate it. So here ya' go....

My favorite ornament (besides the one I posted here) is this Santa Claus. I brought him home from a trip to Germany. The detail is incredible- I wish it showed up better in the picture.
So there you have it. If you can stop laughing long enough make sure to leave me a comment. I need a day of being picked on and laughed at.

24 Validations To Make Me Feel Worthy:
Hate to say it, but the hated ornament looks to have a picture of poor little Cindy Who from "How The Grinch Stole Christmas". To see what I mean, look at this. Doesn't the face of the little who in the lower left corner look familiar?
RIOT!!! LMAO.. RIOT!! I'VE GOT ONE TOO THOUGH.. SO I'LL SHUT UP.
xooxoxo
I was just thinking somehow all the ornaments that I made for my parents when I was little (and are probably the ugly ones hanging on my tree) ended up in my ornament box and I would like to know why my mom doesn't want to display those things of beauty on her tree?!
I think your ornament is cute but I know I don't like photos of my childhood either.
i think you look just adorable {no really I do!!!!}
I love seeing pictures of people I know now when they were younger and there is only one word to describe that one: precious!
My fave ornament is almost like your Old World Santa except mine is all in my favorite color -- purple!
PS: And I still haven't put my tree up after reading your TST post last week and then my discovery Thursday night...blech!
Awwww...I love the photo ornament! I think it is cute and sweet!
And, you know how much I love Europe at Christmas, so I am totally in love with the German Santa. The Hoff and his pugs, however? Not so much.
ROTF! I think we all have one of those...and just so you know, I had the same haircut!
Love the Santa ornament...it's beautiful.
Aw, that's not bad at all. My mom used to make ornaments out of all our school pics and the one of m in 7th grade- I was IN THE MIDDLE OF A SNEEZE when they took the pic. So, my face is all scrunched up and red. It's hideous. Thankfully, that ornament is 600+ miles away from me, so I have an excuse not to share it!
I love love love the german santa!
hahaha. couldn't stop laughing so this is all i can write. jp. thanks for sharing!!
xoxo

*Giggle* Lordy, that could be either one of your boys with longer hair (I think it's definitely Jakob's smirk)!!! I think it's a cute pic! :)
I think it's cute! :) I have an ornament or two on my tree that are a little on the embarassing side, and don't get me started on the ornaments on my parent's tree. Ugh.
I thought the picture looked a lot like your boys too! I think it's cute!!
Awww the picture of you is cute!!! Love the German Santa it's super cool!!
Gotta love those teachers that have their student's make those only to be tortured by them for years to come. I have one just like that too. LOL
LOL! But to be honest, I still hang the ornament on my tree that I made in kindergarten....it's a little diorama type thing made out of tiny aluminum pie bowls.....it has a fake evergreen tree and a horse in it. And cotton ball snow. I call it "my kindergarten ornament". My husband calls it ugly, but I love it.
I think your ornament is cute! I have a whole {small} tree that my grandmother gave me a few years ago with all of my oh so cute picture ornaments on it!
If it makes you feel any better I have ornaments of me when I was little (not so pretty). Those never make it on the tree anymore!
Would love to see the detail on the Santa!
I think it is cute. I wasn't going to make a single joke. Have a very Merry Christmas.
OMG.... I just laughed for 10 minutes over the Cindy Who resemblance.
you know, i just can't get back the naked knight rider with the dogs (pugs? are those PUGS?). i mean, what? Don't Hassel the Hoff? well, excuse me, Hoff, don't do those kinds of photo shoots. it's a good thing i wasn't driving when i saw this.
i wonder if he was ever worried that his balls were touching dog balls.
my god, what if the dog bent down to lick itself and missed?
It's a cute picture of you. Looks like Nolan.
hee hee I like your picture ornament. Actually I have a post in the making about all my special ornaments and I have a picture ornament much like yours!
