Jakob is doing very well today. He is needing pain medication every 4 hours, but in between those doses he is playing, and running up and down the stairs, and eating turkey, and pudding, and popsicles, and watching movies, and...just being busy. I am so happy to see him feel so well. My favorite part of all of this is his amazement that he can breathe through his nose. His absolute wonderment of that sensation makes me smile.
This is his "Before" picture. He wasn't really that sad, he was playing it up for the camera.
This is about 20 minutes after the funny "juice" was given to him. Oh the wonder of a hair net!
What a cute little face he has! I think I need some of that special "juice."
This is after his surgery. He wanted his Dad to take a picture of him so he could see how he looked. So pitiful!
And this is today "After" a shower. It's amazing how good he looks, isn't it?! (Even with that cheesy grin.)

Yay for being able to breathe through your nose! Amazing what we take for granted on a daily basis, isn't it? I'm so glad that he's doing so well. I had to laugh {literally, out loud} about the wonders of the hair net! I was 15 when I had my tonsils out and I *still* remember the funny juice well. Or, at least, I'm reminded of it by others :)

Looks like is recovering nicely. So funny that he had his DS right there with him, Dylan would too. He does look great in the last picture, hope he is feeling great and all those chronic symptoms are a thing of the past. <3
As a mom you have got to be overflowing with happiness to hear him breath right! That is such great news!
ps...those hairnets are pretty intense!
