I heart Faces- Week 45

I have taken a break from IheartFaces for the past couple of weeks because I didn't have photos for their themes. I almost decided to skip this week's theme too- Autumn Beauty- but figured I could pull out a pumpkin patch photo and submit it. This particular photo is from 2008, so Nolan was only 4 years old. I love how his sweetness shows through but that he's covered in hay too. Of course a 4-year-old boy is covered in hay at a pumpkin patch. Could there be any other way?

Make sure to check out all the Autumn Beauty photos at

UPDATE: I got the picture big again, but if I try to type text into the "caption" the picture shrinks. It doesn't do this for any of the other pictures. So now there is a big space between his picture and the text, but only on Jakob's. * clueless shrug*

*Can someone please tell me how to make Jakob's picture on my right sidebar the same size as all the other pictures? I have no idea how this happened or how to fix it! Thanks in advance.

Beautiful photo! Love the orange pumpkins framing the top left and bottom right!

For the sidebar photo, try redoing the gadget. Add the photo (as a new gadget). Try adding it with "shrink to fit" checked. If that doesn't work, try adding it without that checked. If that doesn't work. Make sure the original photo is larger than the sidebar - that way it will shrink to the right size. Hope that helps. :D

Adorable! I love his hair. And of course, his grin!

I love those goldilocks! And I have no idea about the sidebar picture, although I have found that removing and then uploading again sometimes fixes things. Good luck!

Great colors and your little boy's smile is great.

Julie, your son is adorable. The years go by so quickly. It's nice to have these memories captured. BTW, boys covered in hay or anything else for that matter...no, I don't think there is any other way. :-)

I think the photo is perfect for the theme. Could his hair be any more awesome. Why can't I have his hair color!

If you uploaded all the pics at the same size, not sure why it's doing it.

What a sweet picture!!

Do you have the original photos that you used for the sidebar pics? I know my sidebar is 275 pixels wide (you can see that by going into your settings or layout and viewing the code). I try to resize my pics to 250 pixels wide to make sure they fit...however, you said you don't use Photoshop, so if you didn't originally resize the pics, then I would do as someone else suggested and try re-adding the pic as a widget, both with and without the shrink to fit selected. Good luck!

That picture is adorable!

Looks like you have good advice about the sizing of it. I think it has something to do with the pixels size.

Have a great day!

You must have fixed it already. Looks good to me!
What a sweet picture! I have pics of my kids at the pumpkin patch in the hay for about 5 years in a row. Unfortunately they're not all on my PC. I'll have to scan them in sometime.

Oh the joy of being young and not caring if you itch from all the straw down the shirt. (As opposed to be old and avoiding the itch if at all possible.)
