Out to Lunch

Wow- have I been an absent blogger or what?! I know you have all missed me terribly and you noticed immediately that I did not post a True Story Tuesday and am skipping today's normal Mama's Losin' It post. Ahem. Yes, I can read minds...through the computer. Don't question, just believe.

Anyways, I took my 2 days off from subbing this week to get some things done around the house that I have been putting off. One of them was painting and antiquing a dresser. Have you ever painstakingly painted 3 coats of paint on a piece of furniture and then took sandpaper and furniture stain to it? Yeah...me neither. Ahem. I may post a picture for you once I get it into its rightful place and I've cleaned everything up all nice and neat. 'Cause you will all believe that I live in the perfect home with the perfect children, the perfect spouse, and the perfect life. And if you believe that I have some ocean front property in Arizona to sell to you. Ahem.

I'll be back on Friday with my Letters of Intent. I've already gotten it written in my mind, I just have to get my fingers to punch it out into the keys of my laptop.

Yes, we missed your True Story Tuesday post.

I too have my Letter of Intent already written in my head. I stopped by your blog to grab the code for the button and them I'm off to write it while on lunch.

FYI, the last couple times I've tried to grab the code via your blog, it cuts the code off after =src I have no idea why. I went back and grabbed the code from the first time I posted a letter and that works fine. I don't know if it's something with my computer, or if others are having trouble as well.

I was wondering what happened. I've been a bit nutty lately myself. Now, that didn't come out right, or did it? :)

Oh, I bet our houses could rival each other- the perfect house, the perfect children, the perfect life and yes, yes, I am the perfect spouse!!

Looking forward to your letter of intent!

Yep missy - you have some 'splainin to do! We missed your TST - especially since it's been the week of sickies around here :(

I'm kinda laughing to myself though - cuz I know how hard it is to work fulltime and keep up with blogging! :)

Ooooh I can't wait to see the dresser! I am glad to hear everything is fine, you were missed for TST. It’s amazing how everything falls to the side when the computer is within reach...My daily struggle! ;)

I need one of those clocks here at home! Well, I suppose I would need it if I could actually take a break... Can't wait to see the dresser!

sounds like you have been busy. That is good. I need to skip a few posts and get some stuff done too, but my OCD won't let me...LOL
Thought about you today as I almost broke my ankle climbing up one of those inflatables at Pump it up.

Sometimes it is good to be absent. At least that is what I am telling myself. I want to see the dresser.

I can't wait to see the dresser. I haven't ever distressed any furniture...but I bet it is good for getting out your frustrations!
